John James de Roches, M.D., a Swiss, educated at Edinburgh, where he graduated doctor of medicine 24th June, 1803 (D.M.I. de Humulo Lupulo). He practised for a short time in London, and was physician to one of the City dispensaries. He was admitted an Extra-Licen-tiate of the College of Physicians 27th May, 1806, and soon afterwards returned to his native city, Geneva, and practised there with distinguished reputation for many years.
