Keith Anthony Lacey

Keith Anthony Lacey was a consultant paediatrician at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport. He was born in London, the son of Ernest Edwin Lacey, a civil servant. He was educated at Kilburn Grammar School, and then went on to the University of Leeds. He completed his clinical studies at the General Infirmary at Leeds. He was a registrar in paediatrics at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and subsequently a senior registrar at Derbyshire Children's Hospital and Nottingham City Hospital. He was then appointed to his consultant post at Stepping Hill. He wrote papers on short stature and growth hormone deficiencies.

In 1964 he married his wife Marion and they had four children. At the time of his election to the Fellowship of the College in 1983 he listed sailing, tennis and piano playing among his interests.
