Charles Wightman

Charles Wightman, M.D., a native of Scotland, and a doctor of medicine of Edinburgh of 24th June,1808 (D.M.I. de Consensu), was admitted a Licentiate of the College of Physicians 22nd December, 1812. He practised successively at Alnwick and Sunderland, and then removed to Newcastle-on-Tyne, where he died 19th August, 1857.

He was the author of—
A Treatise on the Sympathetic Relation between the Stomach and Brain. 8vo. 1840.
