Andrew Thynne

Andrew Thynne, M.D.—A native of Ireland, and a doctor of medicine of Rheims of 22nd August, 1775; was admitted a Licentiate of the College of Physicians 2nd April, 1787. He was in much esteem as an accoucheur, was lecturer on midwifery at St. Bartholomew’s hospital, and physician to the Westminster Lying-in hospital. He died in St. George’s-fields towards the end of 1813, aged sixty-four.
