Conrad Joachim (Sir) Sprengell

Sir Conrad Joachim Sprengell, M.D., a native of Leipsic, and a doctor of medicine of Angiers, of 12th March, 1710; was admitted a Licentiate of the College of Physicians 23rd March, 1718-9. He was admitted a fellow of the Royal Society 23rd March, 1720-1. He received the honour of knighthood from George I 1st May, 1725, and died, according to Dr. Thomson,(1) 14th March, 1740. He published a translation of the Aphorisms of Hippocrates and Sentences of Celsus. 8vo. Lond. 1735.
