George Rogers

George Rogers, MD, was the second son of Francis Rogers, of Dartford, co Kent. He was educated at Catherine hall, Cambridge, as a member of which he proceeded AB about 1603; AM 1606. He studied for some time at Leyden, and was entered on the physic line there 27th September, 1609, being then 25 years of age. He graduated doctor of medicine at Padua, 17th December, 1612; was admitted a Candidate of the College of Physicians 9th April, 1616; and a Fellow 26th June, 1616. Dying in November, 1622, he was buried at St Dunstan’s-in-the-West, on the 18th of that month.
