James Oyston, AM. A master of arts of Edinburgh, possessing a licence from the archbishop of York, dated 18th June, 1636, to practise in his diocese; and another from Thomas Burwell, vicar-general of the bishop of Durham, dated 20th December of the same year, according him the same privilege within the limits of that prelate’s jurisdiction; was admitted an Extra-Licentiate of the College of Physicians 20th February, 1641-2.
