Henry Krohn

Henry Krohn, M.D., was born at Hamburgh, and received his medical education at Utrecht, where he proceeded doctor of medicine 20th October, 1762 (D.M.I. de Usu Opii in Puerperis). He was admitted a Licentiate of the College of Physicians 30th September, 1774, and was physician-accoucheur to the Middlesex hospital, an office which he held for nearly thirty years, resigning it the 6th February, 1798, about which time he left London and retired to St. Neot’s, Huntingdonshire. He died in May, 1816, aged eighty, and was buried on the 18th of that month in the churchyard of Eynesbury. He published "Foetûs extra Uterum Historia." Fol. Lond. 1791.
