John Hungerford

John Hungerford, MD, was created a Fellow of the College by the charter of king James II and was admitted as such at the Comitia Majora Extraordinaria of 12th April, 1687. Dr Hungerford was probably the person to whom Dr Richard Griffith (p.470) addressed his “A la Mode Phlebotomy, no good fashion;” 8vo. Lond. 1681, and if so, he practised at Reading.
