James Holman, M.D.—A doctor of medicine of Edinburgh, of 24th June, 1789 (D.M.I. de Frigoris generalioribus in Corpora viva effectibus, ejusque usu in morbis febrilibus fugandis); was admitted an Extra-Licentiate of the College of Physicians 25th September, 1797. He settled at Bath; and on the 9th April, 1800, was elected physician to the General hospital in that city, which office he resigned in 1804. Dr. Holman eventually retired to Wellington, and died there on the 11th March, 1812.
