Samuel Fothergill, M.D., a native of Yorkshire, and a doctor of medicine of Glasgow of 6th April, 1802, was admitted a Licentiate of the College of Physicians 30th September, 1805.

He was the author of—
An Account of a Painful Affection of the Nerves of the Face, commonly called Tic Douloureux. 8vo. Lond. 1804.
