Joseph Eaton, M.D,—A native of Cheshire, educated at Pembroke hall, Cambridge, but a doctor of medicine of Leyden, 19th December, 1686 (D.M.I. de Vertigine, 4to.); was admitted a Licentiate of the College of Physicians 25th June, 1713. He was originally a nonconformist clergyman. He settled at Macclesfield in 1691, and was successively at Nottingham, Colchester, and London.(1)
