Henry Heanes Crucknell

Henry Crucknell, whose home was in Islington, matriculated at Oriel College, Oxford, in 1848. After graduating as B.A. five years later, he was made a fellow of the College. He studied medicine and held a house appointment at King’s College Hospital, taking his B.M. degree in 1862. He practised in the West End of London and served as physician on the staffs of the Northern Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Diseases of the Chest.
